Eurus Mneme is a European-based ensemble led by clarinettist Panos Skouteris. The group creates music shaped by breath, memory, and the art of close listening. Rooted in Greek, Ottoman, and Persian ancient modal traditions, Eurus Mneme blends composition and improvisation to create intimate and unique performances where tradition and personal expression converge under a narrative flow.
Our Shared Breath is the ensemble’s recent concept, focusing on collective breathing as a musical and symbolic act. A space where phrasing, silence, and timing are shared. Through this lens, the music unfolds as a living ritual, reflecting the sacred symbols and inner worlds carried within these traditions.
