A million-dollar intrigue

Olya and Julia are ordinary girls living in a rented apartment together with the landlady. Their problems are just like everyone else's: job hunting, loans, lack of money, and overdue rent. The landlady is a beautiful woman with a moody personality, for whom order in the apartment and timely payments are very important.

Both girls lose their jobs at the same time — just bad luck, you might think. Panic? Depression? Nope, not for them! Instead, they come up with a plan. Not just any plan, but the ultimate escape from their misery. While scrolling through online ads, they stumble upon something remarkable: an offer from an American millionaire who promises a generous reward to girls who pose as a lesbian couple and feel oppressed by society. Sounds bizarre, but also like a chance they can’t pass up... The plan is set, the photo is taken — but something goes wrong. No one expected the lady from overseas to want to meet the couple in person so quickly.

And that’s where the funny situations begin... One girl’s boyfriend is forced to pretend he’s the lover of the landlady. The American woman’s bodyguard falls in love with the other girl. The American herself falls for the artistic neighbor, who’s constantly searching for his muse in the apartment. The landlady invites one of the girls’ fathers to come visit. When he arrives, they fall in love. Now the big question: should they confess everything, or just keep spinning their tale?

Olya and Julia don’t choose the easiest path, but in the end, love turns out to be stronger than all the challenges!
