Collective Roesoesoe explores the effects of masculinity
Lisa Koo Gautama and her Collective Roesoesoe, together with Simon Baert, explore the effects of masculinity on society with Can You See Us, a performance on the intersection of music, dance, poetry and illustration. They find inspiration in the stories of activists from The Philippines, Cameroon and Jordan. Discover the exciting universe they have created!
This event is part of the “Be A GENTLEman”-campagne created by CHanGE (UCOS). This campagne explores the ways in which toxic masculinity is created and reproduced by visual representation, and the effects this has on society. We invite you to reflect on what a positive and healthy expression of masculinity could look like.
