Since 2008, Fresku has been one of the household names in the Dutch rap scene.
He earned that status by addressing what lies beneath the surface — his own feelings, those of the people around him, and those within society. He never hides his fears, doubts, or capacity to love. He held up a mirror to the Dutch media world and made his voice heard during times of polarization.

But all those steps turned out to be small parts of a much bigger journey: learning. Living. Learning to live.
