Ahmed Hawwash & Fernant Zeste

Ahmed Hawwash, a virtuoso clarinetist with a distinctly personal sound, and Fernant Zeste, the Ghent‑based indie blues singer‑songwriter known for his raw, lived‑in voice, find each other on stage once again. What began in 2025 during Les Goûts de Gand as an unexpected yet wondrous musical encounter now grows into a new chapter at ENTR, where they pick up the thread and spin it further.

Their collaboration is also part of the wider programme of Eye on Palestine 2026.

Together, they create an atmosphere in which traditions and styles do not collide but enter into dialogue. Improvisation is central: two musicians giving each other space, challenging and surprising one another, opening a sonic landscape that is as adventurous as it is intimate.
