A concert full of timeless melodies from the Arab world and Morocco
Step in for a musical journey through the heart of Arab and Moroccan music. Petit Taxi Tunes is a concert filled with classics and beloved melodies, with a special focus on vocals. The program features a carefully curated selection from both the classical and contemporary Arabic repertoire, enriched with musical gems from Morocco.
Vocalists Fatiha Alyoud and Salah Eddine Mesbah guide the audience through the unforgettable music of legends such as Umm Kulthum, Abdelhalim Hafez, Fairuz, Kadem Saher, Cheb Mami, Samira Saïd, and many others.
In a warm, intimate setting, the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra (AAO) brings to life the nostalgia of Morocco’s iconic ‘Petit Taxis’ — those small cabs from which music often pours, evoking memories for many.
Let yourself be carried away by the sounds of a rich musical heritage, from classical to contemporary, from Cairo to Casablanca.
As soon as you close the door of our Petit Taxi, the ride begins — not just through the city, but through an entire musical world.
