CISCO HERZHAFT & TOM DE WULF

French blues guitarist-singer Cisco Herzhaft from Bordeaux plays blues, ragtime and boogie woogie and is a gifted slide and fingerpicking guitarist. After countless wanderings in Canada and the US, among others, he eventually settled in Mouscron. In his younger years he toured with John Lee Hooker, who - alongside men like Doc Watson, Big Bill Broonzy and Fred McDowell - is and remains one of his greatest inspirations. He always manages to captivate his audience with his original and personal version of 'ze blous', neatly divided over the past few years over 10 excellent CDs.

Cisco Herzhaft is supervised by Tom De Wulf. The drummer from Ghent has plenty of experience and is at home in many styles. His sharp swinging rhythms give an extra dimension to Cisco's guitar playing and misty voice.
