Aminata Demba and Aïcha Cissé covered in the context of GEN2020 (trajectory and platform for actors and theater makers of various origins) an exciting, productive and sustainable trajectory. They both reaped a lot of praise with Dis-moi wie ik ben. This playful and poignant show on the search for identity, appeals to both young and old. After a successful tour in 2015-2016, travels on through Flanders, under the wings of KVS.

In a whirlwind of short scenes, two young actresses take you on a search for their identity. As second generation, Aïcha Cissé and Aminata Demba have plentiful of questions, on which the first generation does not give enough answers. So they gather facts and fiction to make the story of their parents. And thus their own story! A story in which many will recognize themselves, and that offers others a unique glimpse in the environment of youngsters who grow up between two cultures.
