DJ GrazzHoppa, Pablo Casella & Owen Perry Weston ♡ HEARTBEAT SESSION

Guitarist Pablo Casella was a guest programmer during the 1st edition of The Canopy Sessions last summer. He often plays with sis Luanda or cousin Helena and also with bands like Little Dots and Esinam. Turntablist-producer DJ Grazzhoppa (aka Wim Verbrugghe, Mr. Cheebahawkes, Mr. Mingpanel or Three Insect) we know from Dj Grazzhoppa's Dj Bigband, Mo & Grazz, These Handz and True Masterz). Bassist Owen Perry Weston plays with a whole host of people and groups such as Coely, Majé & Calya J., The Big WHoop, Ndugu and PAARD. He will soon be guest programmer for the 2nd edition of The Canopy sessions.

Casella and GrazzHoppa have held several improvisation sessions in recent years in which they extensively explored the combination of turntables, guitar, synths and loop stations. Together with Owen Weston, they gave a fabulous live concert (you remember) in our Cellar Hall last September. Our programmer was so impressed that he offered the trio the chance to go total loss once again ... even if without an audience ... let it be for eternity!
