EMRE AYDIN

Emre Aydın was born in Isparta in 1981. He gained recognition through his participation in the 'Sing Your Song' competition in 2002, where he placed first among the other 1574 candidates with the song "Dönersen".

In 2006, Emre Aydın released his first official album, titled "Afili Yalnizlik". This album earned him nominations for various awards, including "Best Rock Artist", "Best Newcomer", "Best Single", "Best Album", and "Best Music Video".

In 2008, he was nominated for the final of the 'MTV Ema Awards' held in Liverpool. With the votes he received from his fans worldwide via the internet, he was declared "The Best European Act" in Europe.

Since the beginning of his career, he has released several albums: "Beni Biraz Böyle Hatırla" in 2012, "Eylül Geldi Sonra" in 2013, and "Uyut Beni" in 2019. His hit song "soğuk odalar" was awarded the Turkish Music Award as the best Turkish single of 2012, presented by the Turkish music channel Kral TV. Between his previous performance at De Centrale in 2014 and today, he has released more than 25 singles, of which "Sen Beni Unutamazsın" from 2016 is by far the most popular - there is also a beautiful acoustic version from 2019.  One could easily lose count!
