Gripin is a leading Turkish rock band that was founded in 1999 in Istanbul. The band originally started out performing English-language covers, but they quickly won over audiences with their own Turkish-language songs – a distinctive blend of emotional lyrics, powerful vocals, and melodic rock. Their breakthrough album Gripin (2007) produced major hits such as “Böyle Kahpedir Dünya” and “Sensiz İstanbul’a Düşmanım”, while tracks like “Durma Yağmur Durma” and “Aşk Nerden Nereye” further cemented their popularity.
