During the quiet days of the pandemic, Germina Gordienko and Mitia Khramtsov discovered each other in the forests near St. Petersburg, sparking a new musical journey: klezmer in its purest form, played on violin and cimbalom—a combination almost never heard live.

Their music revives the spirit of early klezmer, when the violin sang the lead and the cimbalom drove the rhythm. Expect an authentic, high-energy performance from two passionate artists with remarkable stories. Mitia is the founder of Dobranotch, an internationally acclaimed klezmer band, while Germina traded her percussion roots for the cimbalom, performing on a historic instrument steeped in history.
