Hartwin Trio + Dobranotch Duo . #FOTM11

Fiddlers on the Move . a folk violin project

Dobranotch Duo

Experience the rare and enchanting sound of Dobranotch Duo—a klezmer pairing that bridges tradition and innovation. During the quiet days of the pandemic, Germina Gordienko and Mitia Khramtsov discovered each other in the forests near St. Petersburg, sparking a new musical journey: klezmer in its purest form, played on violin and cimbalom—a combination almost never heard live.

Their music revives the spirit of early klezmer, when the violin sang the lead and the cimbalom drove the rhythm. Expect an authentic, high-energy performance from two passionate artists with remarkable stories. Mitia is the founder of Dobranotch, an internationally acclaimed klezmer band, while Germina traded her percussion roots for the cimbalom, performing on a historic instrument steeped in history.

Let Dobranotch Duo transport you to another time with a sound that’s as rare as it is unforgettable—a meeting of tradition, artistry, and soul.

Hartwin Trio – This is the Place

Step into a world of melody and imagination with the Hartwin Trio. Led by Hartwin Dhoore on diatonic accordion, their music is heartfelt and cinematic—simple yet deeply moving. Joined by cellist Flavia Escartin and violinist Pavel Souvandjiev, this trio creates a sound that defies boundaries, weaving together folk, classical, and world music in a seamless, captivating blend.

Flavia and Pavel bring their own vibrant influences—jazz, Balkan, and Celtic traditions—adding color and energy to Hartwin’s evocative melodies. The result is a concert that feels like a story without words: rich in emotion, full of virtuosity, and impossible to forget. With Hartwin’s warm, engaging presence, every note becomes an invitation to pause, listen, and be carried away.

“This is the Place” is more than a title. It’s a promise of music that transcends borders and speaks straight to the heart.
