HHH's FREESTAGE 2K23

Hip Hop Hooray is a hip hop concept from Ghent that puts all elements of hip hop in the spotlight. From festivals to live performances, workshops and jams. HHH is committed to the development, creation and presentation of hip-hop artists.

HHH is once again looking for artists who have the potential to progress in the world of hip hop.

Through a freestage, upcoming artists are given the opportunity to perform a full-fledged, professional show as support act for one of our headliners.

In recent editions we already brought names such as Pete Rock, Masta Ace, Slum Village, Smif-n-Wessun, Jeru the Damaja, Afu-Ra, Josylvio, Woodie Smalls, Spreej, Le77, Hef, Kevin, Snelle, Fresku and MocroManiac.

The 7 to 10 best artists are chosen by a jury of recognized rappers, DJs, producers and managers/agents.

The selected finalists each perform 15 min. of tracks  - on Sunday 5 February, live on the stage at De Centrale - with Samurai, Fatih and DJ dysfunkshunal on the jury!

Artists HHH helped grow: Alois & VLB, 3MB, 23crw, Losabes, Deabeat Larry, Leblanc, Eles, Krapuul, Dyce, All-Turn, Miserabele Johnny, Khail, Groen Enough, SDM OT GANG, Longwa tha Farao, Snelstappers and Apex Raptors.
