Somewhere in Africa, in the year 2058, a man and a woman sit in front of the camera. They are saying that their story started 41 years ago, in 2017. On a hill, in a formerly green country, the population is confronted with a serious crisis. The water is polluted and should be treated before proper consumption or agricultural use. This situation leads to the appearance of two clans: the Abanyamazi (experts in water treatment) and the Abagabuzi (farmers and traders). Both clans live in peace, but reciprocal distrust reigns over their relationships. Yet Nijimbere and Kamikazi, each from an other tribe, fall in love with each other.
