INTERNATIONAL ROMA DAY 2023

Together with various partners, De Centrale organizes an annual musical family day on the occasion of International Roma Day (08/04).

The 'International Roma Day' is the international holiday of the Roma that was introduced during the first Roma World Congress in 1971 in London. Today, the holiday is celebrated by the Roma all over the world. In addition to the Roma flag and the Roma hymn (Djelem, Djelem), Roma Day is the pre-eminent symbol of the Roma Nation. The day is used, among other things, to ask for recognition for the individuality and identity as a people.
