KAITO WINSE

Prepare yourself for the return of Kaito Winse, the versatile artist from Burkina Faso, based in Brussels, with his new album set to release in 2025. Following his debut CD Kaladounia from 2020, Kaito continues his journey through music and tradition, featuring profound, reflective lyrics drawn from the rich sources of oral tradition.

Kaito masterfully plays an impressive array of instruments, including the calabash, mouth bow, Peul flute, toutlé flute, and the tama, a drum capable of mimicking the human voice. His commanding vocals and storytelling evoke the intensity and drama of an operatic performance.

His recent work is a harmonious blend of proverbs, ancient sayings, music, and dance. His new album will be released on Rebel Up in collaboration with Zephyrus Records.
