With her original blend of folk, indie, and acoustic pop, Turkish singer-songwriter Kalben is a true sensation in Istanbul. Drawing inspiration from artists like Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, Sevinç Tevs, Nazan Öncel, David Bowie, and Tom Waits.

In 2014, Kalben was discovered on the music platform Sofar Sounds, with a performance that has now garnered over 6 million views on YouTube. Since then, her success has been growing, with hits like "Sadece" and "Saçlar," earning her major Turkish music awards.

Her fifth studio album, "Eski Dünyanın Yangını," is now out, featuring heartfelt songs about self-love and a newfound freedom, dedicated to the victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence.
