LIMBERGER FAMILY

Fiddlers on the Move . a folk violin project

Manouche Magic and Generational Harmony

Join us for an unforgettable night with the Limberger Family, a trio that brings the rich Manouche tradition to life. For this special occasion, internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Tcha Limberger joins forces with his father Vivi Limberger—a living legend of Belgian gypsy jazz—and Vilmos Csikós on double bass.

Together, they weave a tapestry of music that spans generations: soulful Manouche songs, swinging Django Reinhardt-inspired rhythms, and captivating melodies from Russia, Hungary, and Romania.

Tcha Limberger is celebrated worldwide for his virtuosity and versatility, leading projects such as Les Violons de Bruxelles and I Silenti. His artistry is deeply rooted in Romani culture, radiating authenticity and passion. Vivi Limberger, longtime rhythm guitarist of the iconic Waso Jazz Quartet, adds his warm voice and rhythmic mastery—a sound that has enchanted Europe for decades.

This intimate concert is a rare opportunity to see father and son share the stage. Expect an evening filled with passion, improvisation, and musical storytelling that bridges generations.
