We are proud to present Mandé Sila, the latest acoustic project led by internationally acclaimed Malian artist Habib Koité. Known for his exceptional musicality, wit, and stage presence, Habib is one of Africa’s most beloved and influential musicians.

Mandé Sila brings together three extraordinary virtuosos, united by a shared cultural heritage and a passion for reimagining traditional West African music:

Habib Koité (Mali) – The visionary behind the project, celebrated for his soulful artistry and modern troubadour spirit.

Aly Keïta (Côte d'Ivoire) – Often hailed as the “magician of the balafon,” Aly is renowned worldwide for his breathtaking virtuosity and unmistakable sound.

Lamine Cissokho (Senegal) – A master of the kora and a proud descendant of a legendary griot lineage dating back to the 14th century.

Together, they create a rich, vibrant soundscape that honors ancestral traditions while breathing new life into the genre. Their performances are a fusion of deep-rooted storytelling, technical brilliance, and cross-cultural harmony.

Adding even more rhythmic depth to the ensemble is Mama Koné, Habib’s long-time percussionist and a dynamic force on djembe, calabash, and electronic pad.
