Fiddlers on the Move . a folk violin project

Masters on the Move

Experience the ultimate highlight of Fiddlers on the Move! The evening begins with Ensemble on the Move, a vibrant group of diverse instruments brought together under the guidance of Jonas Malfliet, performing a selection of tunes learned during the festival.

The stage then fills with talent as nearly all the teachers come together for the one-of-a-kind Masters on the Move concert. Each will offer a glimpse of their musical artistry, taking the audience on a journey through different musical traditions. For the grand finale, all musicians unite to interpret a Flemish traditional tune in their unique styles, celebrating the rich diversity of fiddle music. This is a night not to be missed!

With Amit Weisberger, Bojan Cvetrežnik, Barja Drnovšek, Bríd Harper, Jean-Christophe Gairard, Laura Cortese, Layth Sidiq, Makis Baklatzis, Marin Bunea, Mia Marine, Ruben Tenenbaum, Toby Kuhn, Jonas Malfliet and of course Wouter Vandenabeele. After all, Fiddlers on the Move is and remains his brainchild!
