Moussabaa

Roots that rock. Rhythms that roll.

Let yourself be carried away on a musical journey full of sizzling energy, infectious grooves, and warm West African vibes. MOUSSABAA immerses you in a vibrant live experience where Ghana meets Burkina Faso in a swirling fusion of highlife, soukous, reggae, griot traditions, and dreamy savannah sounds.

At the heart of MOUSSABAA are two passionate musicians. Abaa Poliwa – also known as Stick of Moses – is a true rastaman and the creative force behind Ghent-based Ghanaian band Seekaman. His music is steeped in vitality and spirituality, rooted in reggae and highlife but reaching far beyond genre boundaries. He joins forces with Moussa Dembélé, the charismatic multi-instrumentalist from Burkina Faso, whose musical roots lie deep in the griot tradition of his homeland. Raised in a family of storytellers and musicians, Moussa brings mastery and soul to every instrument he touches — from balafon and kora to djembé and n'goni — blending age-old tradition with jazz, rock, psychedelia, and free improvisation.

In MOUSSABAA’s soundscape, the balafon sings like the beating heart of West Africa, the kora whispers like desert winds across the Sahel, and the djembé pulses like the rhythm of Accra at sunset. Their music stirs heart, skin, and hips — tender and powerful, spiritual and grounded.

MOUSSABAA is not just a concert — it’s an experience. A sensory rollercoaster of rhythm, story, and soul that makes you dance, dream, and feel it all.

Don't miss this one-of-a-kind night.
