Necdet Kaya

Twice we had to cancel his concert (scheduled in April and December 2020) because of Corona. Necdet Kaya is finally coming to Ghent! The popular Turkish singer is regarded by many fans of Turkish folk music as one of the best performers in the genre. He is a popular performer among the Turkish public. He effortlessly and with a lot of flair adds influences from Turkish pop and classical music to his repertoire. Necdet Kaya released several albums including Kopardıllar Dallarımı, Yanık Türküler, Yarimiş Meğer. During the Corona period (2020-2022) he released 3 EPs with "folk songs connected to the heart" or in Turkish "Yüreğe İliştirilmiş Türküler".
