OMAR DAHL

Omar Dahl cannot easily be placed in a specific genre. The ingenious blend of synths, wind, and string instruments opens a new dimension within electronic music. The danceable beats and sultry melodies are clearly influenced by music from the Arab world and the Balkans.

After releasing his debut EP Zura in 2019, Omar Dahl followed up with the single Oscar's Walk in 2020. The track is part of The White Collection, a compilation album curated and recorded by the Ghent-based label Eskimo Recordings. Just before the summer of 2021, the band released their single Piruet, distributed by Global Hybrid Records. Since then, Omar Dahl has performed at various shows both in Belgium and internationally, including at Petit Bain (Paris) and Soundscape Festival (Istanbul). They have also performed at Wakana Reunion (Spain) and Tropen Tango Festival (Germany) in the past.

In early 2022, they released the EP Where We Left, followed by Zephyr in 2023 and Traum in 2025.

The band has performed extensively across Belgium (including a sold-out concert at De Centrale in 2023), the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Turkey, France, Denmark, and Mexico. Their live performances remain a key pillar of their success, reaching a broad audience with their unique sound.
