Ozferti is the brainchild of the multi-talented French artist Florian Doucet. His unique persona represents a captivating musical universe that defies simple categorization, whether you call it Afrogrime, Ethiopop or Nubian bass.  Ozferti's music is a rich fusion of Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Nigerian influences intertwined with elements of electronica, jazz, hip hop, and bass music.

Florian Doucet, previously involved in dynamic bands like La Chiva Gantiva and Terrakota, embarked on his solo project in 2016. After extensive visual and musical exploration, his debut album, "Addis Aboumbap" was released in May 2016, featuring 11 tracks of Ethiojazz and electronic soundscapes. It gained recognition from underground DJs, radio stations, and major broadcasters.  

In May 2016, Florian began touring with Belgian and European electronic beatmakers like Pippin and Sparkling Bits, as well as established artists such as Flex Fab, R.O., Pomrad and Degiheugi.

Collaborations with Ethiopian musicians are on the horizon, promising fresh creative material and innovative concepts for his "Nubia Nova" world. When Ozferti takes the stage, it's a mesmerizing performance featuring machines, guitar, video animations, and occasionally a clarinet. It's a sonic odyssey that transports listeners far, far away from Earth.
