Percussion traineeship with Nicolas Derolin

Nicolas Derolin is a Parisian percussionist who immersed himself in various percussion traditions from the Middle East and the Maghreb. He worked with masters in the genre, and is himself particularly active as a performing musician in Paris the rest of France.

During this fascinating internship at De Centrale, he works around:

traditional rhythms from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Iraq;
Polyrhythms from the Gulf States;
drum solos.

The workshop is meant for the semi-advanced to advanced darboeka and bendir player.
