Sauce Control

Paul De Smet, the drummer behind Sauce Control, leads an ambitious project built around original compositions. Together with Bruno De Smet on piano and keyboards and Inigo Grau Y Garcia on bass, the trio explores a colourful musical landscape shaped by interaction, intuition and imagination.

For this special performance, the group is joined by the fantastic Lascar String Quartet, allowing jazz and classical music to merge in a natural and organic way. Cinematic textures, strong themes and plenty of room for both sauce and improvisation create a sound that is constantly shifting between reflection, tension and release.

The music moves effortlessly between intimate passages and more expansive moments. With its blend of carefully crafted compositions and spontaneous interplay, Sauce Control continually seeks a balance between contemplation, excitement and energy.
