SCIENCE DAY

De Centrale, EDF Luminus and Gandante vzw join forces during the Day of Science. You can register via gandante.be for one of the free guided tours (14.00 and 14.30) behind the scenes and discover the Ghent electricity story. You will probably come in heritage rooms which are normally well hidden to the audience! Both the  old part with the protected turbine as the present plant of EDF Luminus are covered in this tour.
In addition to the tour, you can also (freely) visit De Centrale for all kinds of extra information about DC and AC, children can learn programming via Blue Bots and Sketch Up and we try to produce music through our own generated energy! Bring on those blackouts! From 13.00 you can also experience a drone demonstration. De Centrale from the air?? It certainly produces spectacular images!
