Symphonic Mob©

On 12 September, Ghent will come alive with music, connection and movement during OdeGand. Explore the city with OdeGand En Route, join The Caravan by Thomas Verstraeten and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, raise your voice in the Caravan Choir, or enjoy the impressive Symphonic Mob©.

For this third edition, hundreds of musicians of all ages and skill levels will gather beneath the City Pavilion (Stadshal). Under the inspiring direction of conductor Martijn Dendievel, they will together form Belgium’s most spontaneous orchestra.

Registration for musicians has now closed: Symphonic Mob© is fully booked. Fortunately, you do not need to be on stage to experience this unique musical event.

Come and listen, watch and experience how music connects the city. On 12 September, discover under the City Pavilion at Poeljemarkt the power of hundreds of musicians coming together to create a unique artistic moment.
