Ta Mavra Moura is a three piece band from Athens. While the group initially concentrated mainly on the Greek folk music of the 20th century (read rebetiko and laiko), they also tread other musical paths with interpretations by - among others -  Manos Hatzidakis and Nikos Xydakis. The instrumentation consists of bouzouki and guitar, as the basis of the urban folk music of Athens during the classical rebetiko era. Partly due to the rather unusual use of the flute, the musical horizon is expanded even more. The three voices take care of the rest…

Eirini Sgouridou – flute, vocals
Giorgos Goudousakis – bouzouki, vocals
Giorgis Karras - guitar, vocals
