Bao Sissoko comes from a family of Senegalese griots. His unique way of playing the kora, sometimes fine and fragile, at other times rough and energetic, makes him an authority on this instrument. In between his numerous collaborations (Malick Pathe Sow, Baaba Maal, Abou Thiam, Mamy Kanoute, Zap Mama, Vaya Con Dios, Sioen, ...) Bao meets Wouter Vandenabeele (Olla Vogala, Chansons sans Paroles, GFVP) during the recording of the project "La musique d'Issa Sow".
