Iran is a mosaic of peoples, each with their own unique traditions, languages, art forms, musical styles, clothing, and culinary heritage. Despite this rich diversity, there are also many commonalities and shared cultural elements that connect the country and its people.
The Zarbang Ensemble draws inspiration from this cultural and musical richness and collaborates with masters from both the Lori and Azeri traditions. In the first part of the concert, we are introduced to the vibrant and rhythmic sounds of Azeri music. The second part immerses us in the melancholic and poetic tones of the Lori region.
The concert concludes with a selection of Persian classical music, a genre in which the musicians feel completely at home and where their virtuosity truly shines.
