Anna’s Workshop on Swedish Traditional Songs and Tunes

Join Anna for an engaging workshop where she will teach songs and melodies in 2- to 4-part harmony—entirely by ear. The workshop fosters a fun and stimulating environment. The repertoire will primarily feature Swedish traditional songs and tunes, with occasional selections from other Scandinavian traditions.

Participants will explore genre-specific sounds, grooves, articulation, and ornamentation. The workshop also includes personalized tips and feedback on vocal technique, intonation, and strategies for improving both ensemble and solo singing.

About Anna Wikenius
Anna Wikenius is an experienced and highly qualified vocal teacher. She holds a university degree in singing and vocal technique, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Swedish folk music from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

Over the past decade, Anna has conducted regular workshops across Sweden and internationally. She has toured globally with the vocal group KONGERO and the Swedish-Finnish trio FOLK’AVANT. For the past three years, Anna has been a teacher and the Director of Studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
