Workshop jazz improvisation

Have you ever been fascinated by crazy jazz solos and wondered how this actually works? Think of chord progressions, 2-5-1 progressions and other techniques. If so, than this workshop is definitely something for you! The one and only Tcha Limberger gives an introduction to jazz improvisation.

It is not a requirement to have experience with jazz, but this workshop is not really suitable for beginners. We expect you to be able to play by ear, have experience with improvisation and know the basics of harmony.

Tcha Limberger is the son of guitarist Vivi Limberger (Waso Quartet) and grandson of violinist Piotto Limberger, both well-known figures in the world  of gypsy jazz. The multi-instrumentalist not only focuses on Manouche jazz, but has already mastered a lot of other music styles, as evidenced by the large number of projects he has worked on so far. Tcha is renowned among connoisseurs of just about every Balkan style & gypsy jazz and he is by far one of the greatest ambassadors of world, folk and jazz music in Belgium.
