With us, you can learn to play instruments such as the qanun, bağlama (saz), oud, darbuka, bendir, and violin. In addition, there are ensemble sessions for those who enjoy making music together, and for vocal enthusiasts the Balkan Choir for adults returns once again.

Our regular teachers are active musicians who share their passion with great enthusiasm. They use a variety of teaching methods – from playing by ear to working with sheet music – ensuring a fine balance between practice and theory.

Alongside the regular courses, we also organize inspiring workshops with guest teachers from Belgium and abroad. A true highlight this autumn is the second edition of Labyrinth Ghent, taking place from 27 to 30 October 2025. This international series of workshops and concerts brings advanced musicians from around the world together around modal music traditions. Labyrinth is not just a workshop, but a unique musical experience that places creativity, depth, and intercultural exchange at its core.
