Where Word Art Takes Center Stage!

Get ready for an exhilarating journey into the world of word art in all its magnificent forms! Slam Aleikum is a vibrant and inclusive platform that celebrates Spoken Word, Slam Poetry, Storytelling, Comedy, and Rap. Brace yourself for an unforgettable evening filled with thought-provoking performances.

Our esteemed lineup of professional word artists fearlessly confronts societal issues from their unique perspectives, inviting us to explore the depths of our own vulnerabilities. With the charismatic Hind Eljadid as our host keeping the beats flowing, prepare to be captivated by the seamless fusion of words and melodies.

But that's not all – Slam Aleikum is a visual feast too! VJ Hamza Abu Ayyash takes us on a mesmerizing journey through kalligraffiti projections, live from Amman, adding another layer of artistic brilliance to the experience. And for our friends in the deaf community, the talented Kristien Desmettre, an expert in artistic sign language, will bring the words to life through her expressive interpretation.

But the magic doesn't stop there. The stage is open to everyone during our thrilling Open Mic session. Step into the spotlight and share your voice with the world! Sign up for the Open Mic on the night itself, and who knows, you could be the next sensation to grace our stage.

Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable night of creativity, connection, and pure artistic expression. Slam Aleikum is where the power of words unites us all.
