Slam Aleikum is a warm, versatile, and accessible stage for the art of words in all its glory. Spoken word, slam poetry, storytelling, comedy, and rap flow together seamlessly into an evening full of language, emotion, and reflection. Stage talents of the spoken word share their stories—often straight from the heart—casting a critical eye on the world: sometimes vulnerable, often powerful, and always authentic.
The evening is guided with flair and style by the charismatic host Hind Eljadid, while DJ Holy Mary provides an atmospheric soundscape with beats that let the stories breathe.
Thanks to the Flemish Sign Language (VGT) interpreter, Slam Aleikum is also accessible to Deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.
