19TH EMANCIPATION PRIZE 2016

20 YEARS V.O.E.M.

V.O.E.M (Association for the Development and Emancipation of Muslims) is delighted to announce her 19th Emancipation Prize.
The prize will be awarded to 2 persons (or organizations) who made themselves valuable by bringing closer together  people from Flanders with a different background. Furthermore, the 20 years existence of V.O.E.M  is being celebrated. And thus it will be an extra festive edition in our wonderfull turbine hall of De Centrale  with concerts, keynote speeches, an exposition and as top of the bill : the awarding of the prizes by Jan Briers, Governor of East-Flanders.
This initiative plays an important role in the emancipation desire of immigrant populations , in the rapprochement between different religions and philosophies and in the pursuit of mutual  solidarity and democracy.
