Masters of Labyrinth 26

There is a moment during the festival when everything comes together.
Not as a climax that rises above everything else, but as a special encounter in which experience, tradition, and imagination find common ground.

The Masters of Labyrinth first share the stage in an open musical dialogue: an interweaving of styles, sounds, and traditions, each carrying its own history and meaning. What emerges is not a display of virtuosity, but an act of listening: listening to one another, to the audience, and to whatever unfolds in the moment.

From there, the perspective shifts. Selected students are invited onto the stage, not as apprentices standing in the shadow of their teachers, but as accomplished musical voices in their own right. Generations meet, the boundaries between experience and innovation begin to blur, and music unfolds as a shared space for transmission, inspiration, and creation.

Labyrinth Ghent is organised in collaboration with Labyrinth Crete, Codarts University of the Arts, and ArtConnects.
