NICE brings together bassist and vocalist Owen Perry Weston, drummer Giovanni Barcella, and saxophonist Bauke Meersman in a trio operating at the intersection of jazz, minimalism, and free improvisation. Their music moves between stillness and eruption, leaving plenty of room for spontaneous interaction and experimentation.

Owen Perry Weston is active across a wide range of projects within the jazz, pop, and alternative music scenes. Giovanni Barcella combines a strong jazz background with extensive experience in avant-garde and improvised music. Bauke Meersman, in turn, explores minimalist sonic landscapes, often driven by circular breathing techniques.
