OSAMA ABDULRASOL ENSEMBLE * RUMI PASSION (#2)

A roller coaster of boundless love ~ SOLD OUT

For over 750 years, the literary works of Persian poet and Sufi mystic Jalal ad-Din Rumi have continued to resonate. His profound insights were often inspired by his encounter with mentor Shams-e Tabrizi, a relationship that shaped Rumi into one of history’s greatest writers. Even today, his poetry continues to touch hearts, addressing themes that remain strikingly relevant: migration, mental health, and tolerance.

The ensemble led by Iraqi-Belgian composer Osama Abdulrasol presents Rumi Passion, an all-encompassing spectacle inspired by Rumi’s life and his unique bond with Shams-e Tabrizi. This one-of-a-kind project weaves together music, choreography, set design, and poetry into a breathtaking experience.

Rumi Passion offers audiences the opportunity to rediscover Rumi’s works and his inner revolution. It is a holistic experience where music, dance, poetry, and new compositions blend seamlessly. Osama Abdulrasol, Farnoosh Khodadadeh, and Filip Standaert are the driving forces behind this ambitious concept. Together with a highly talented artistic team, they bring Rumi’s journey to life in an extraordinary way.

In a world full of challenges, Rumi Passion offers a moment of reflection and connection. Love serves as the common thread—a force that binds us all together.
