Spiderweb - Embracing 'The Zero Point'
Dance / Music / Video Art

A fusion of dance, music, and visual art unveils a magical journey through the deepest realms of human emotion.

"Spiderweb" transcends the classical definition of a performance. With the pulsating heart of a giant drum and inspired by the ancient symbol of the spiderweb, which holds profound meanings of interconnectivity, unity, and reflection in many cultures, our artists have woven their creation story.

It is a story without end, a continuum of growth spiraling out, where each ending heralds a new beginning: the zero point. Can we connect with the wisdom of our emotions along the way? This performance challenges the conventional boundaries of art and invites the audience to contemplate deeply the creative power inherent in us all. It reminds us that we are all creators, whether consciously crafting art or shaping our lives through choices and interactions.

Artists:
Maya Sapera: dance
Robbe Kieckens: music

The Lost Breath
Dance "Breathing is the first song of the ancestors."

Tonight, you are a witness to a work in progress. The Lost Breath is a part of a larger production.

The universe invites us to dance ancient stories and transform them into a grand celebration. This marks the beginning of a cyclical ritual in honor of voices resonating from the depths. Thus, stories of female ancestors are catalyzed through the body and spirit of a dancer. The Lost Breath came to life with Kesha's movement repertoire and her diary, where she documented her trance experiences in prayer and her encounters in the animistic tradition.
