Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz

Last Tour . Akustik

Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz began as the project of Kaan Boşnak, a young songwriter who recorded and published his own songs on the internet. The videos quickly gained immense popularity, prompting Boşnak to collaborate with Engin Sevik, the group's guitarist. Together with various other musicians, the duo brought to life the stories of young people trapped in the metropolis, facing the risk of becoming a lost generation. In 2013, they released their debut album "Evdekilere Selam." With three full albums to their name now, they perform for thousands of enthusiastic fans in Turkey. Last year, they shared the stage with Evrencan Gündüz during a sold-out performance at Ha Concerts. Today, Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz is back in Ghent to enchant our own Turbine Hall in a completely intimate acoustic setting, during what might turn out to be their last tour.

A must-see for fans of Altin Gün, Madrigal, and Pinhani, among others. But lovers of groups like Mdou Moctar and Kikagaku Moyo are also likely to find their groove.

Kaan Boşnak . vocals & guitar

"Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz" is a Turkish expression that can be literally translated as "We will talk when we are face to face." The expression is often used to indicate that certain matters are better discussed in person rather than through phone calls, text messages, or other means, suggesting a personal and direct form of communication.
