With this unique combination, Zeynep Bakşi Karatağ makes traditional Turkish songs sound familiar yet fresh. She approaches modern songs with remarkable sensitivity. Her experimental approach to arrangements and electronic sounds is noteworthy. However, this never feels arbitrary; instead, her voice always lends it an organic quality.
