Marcel Khalife is one of the most respected and renowned cultural icons from the Arab world. In addition to being a composer, singer and oud player, he is best known as the musical voice of students, intellectuals, workers, and anyone striving for social justice, freedom and human dignity.  On September 27 he and his son Rami will perform idiosyncratic compositions in which traditional Arabic music is mixed with Western elements.
