İstanbul Fasıl Ensemble | İstanbul Night

On a fasıl night, you enjoy—as tradition dictates—delicious mezze and rakı, the Turkish appetizers and the national anise-flavored drink of Turkey. During the Ottoman period, this lightly classical music echoed through palaces and elegant homes. Today, you mostly hear it in the restaurants of Istanbul, because a fasıl is not complete without a table full of food and drink.

The İstanbul Fasıl Ensemble performs both Turkish classical music and fasıl, bringing the atmosphere of Istanbul nights to Ghent. Expect a lively evening full of Turkish hospitality, ambiance, darbuka show, and oriental dance.
