COCAINE PISS + PEUK, PERRO ★ Democrazy

Cocaine Piss brings punk as we like it: with a strong dose of aggression and humor. Singles such as 'Sex Weirdos' (in cooperation with)Mauro Pawlowski) and 'Cosmic Bullshit' (2016) are never politically or musically correct. In 2015 the band released the well-made album The Pool. Successor The Dancer was recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) and came out at the end of 2016. Last new single 'My Cake' (2018) - again with Steve Albini behind the buttons - was already received with open arms by Dancing Bears: "'My Cake' is structured chaos that is furious and overwhelming at the same time". The new album will be released in March 2019.

Nele, Jacques and Dave are PEUK. Seperately they do all kinds of stuff (Evil Superstars, Millionaire, Heisa, ...), but together they guarantee pissed sludge pop with a solid Riot Grrrl at the head. Name and fame were acquired with a year of sizzling performances and a EP sold out in record time. Now follows the self-titled debut album on Fons Records!

PERRO is one of the standard-bearers of a whole generation of Spanish bands. The sound of Perro is unique and recognizable: a brew of pounding punk, kraut, rock and tropical vibes with an unmistakable nineties feel a la Fugazi, Dinosaur Jr. and Guided By Voices.
