Lady Blaxx invites Miss Angel, NanaKill & Emee.

With this project, Lady Blaxx wants to break through the stereotypes surrounding black artists. There are still too few black artists on the Belgian stages - certainly within the 'non-black' genres. So time for change. Lady Blaxx invites various emerging artists of color for a live set and talks to them.

Nanakill

Nanakill (Armelle Mintona) is an emerging R&B singer from the suburbs of Brussels. She speaks French, Dutch, and English and embarked on her musical journey three years ago. Her debut mixtape, "Fairy Dust vol.1," was released on Soundcloud on September 15, 2019. Nanakill's music showcases her versatility with influences from R&B, soul, and rap. She draws inspiration from artists like Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, Lil' Kim, and Erykah Badu. In March 2021, she performed at the virtual Black History Month Belgium Festival at AB. A year later, she closed the same festival at a sold-out Beursschouwburg and opened for Wayne Snow at AB. She was also invited to perform at the Bomboclat Festival alongside Homa Homa. In January, she released her EP "Fairy Dust vol.2," produced by Belgian producer Chipeur.

Emee.

Emee. (Emeraude Tshidibi Kabeya) delivers an irresistible blend of neo-soul, R&B, and pop. Singing in French, English, and Dutch, she authentically weaves tales of love, desire, and loss. Miss Angel

Angela, aka Miss Angel, is a rising Belgian singer from Antwerp. In 2016, she discovered her lyrical voice, writing songs and delivering captivating a cappella performances. Her versatility shone in early 2019 when she featured on KRANKk's "Like That" alongside Blu Samu. Miss Angel's energetic stage presence led to live performances and supporting acts for Night Lovell and Zwangere Guy, who featured her MC skills on three tracks of his chart-topping album "Wie Is Guy?". She joined forces with Le Motel on the OST for the Belgian film "BINTI," contributing to the title track "Forgotten" and "Feeling Myself" with Martha Da'Ro. Meanwhile, Angel is finalizing her debut EP, "Ghetto Mami," signaling her promising rise in the Belgian hip-hop scene. Stay tuned as this talented artist makes her mark.
