Sous Couche d’Amour ft. Walid Ben Chikha + DJ Zouzou Ben Chikha

More mature than ever and building on the albums Frontières (2012) and Pour Vous (2015).  Walid Ben Chikha (°1980, Blankenberge), brother of Chokri and Zouzou, builds bridges between his Tunisian and Belgian roots, in a continuous crossover of reggae and rai, supplemented with funk, ska and Latino rhythms.

Composer, singer, musician and actor Walid Ben Chikha founded Sous Couche in 2006. Hundreds of performances later, the band has become an established name in Ghent and the surrounding area.

In 2023, Sous Couche d'Amour aims at a wider audience. Walid worked and wrote for more than 7 years on the new album. The musical creations are pure and mature. They are versatile and melodically strong listening songs. Cheerful, playful, light-footed, even frivolous songs alternate with more intimate songs full of melancholy and longing.
