‘NUFF SAID #04 (special 100%MAROC)

URBAN MUSIC & COMEDY

'Nuff Said. Crossroad of live music, comedy and spoken word. Where you see the city. Past the nomination. Past of what is hip tomorrow. With funkboat on acid BRZZVLL as ever so legendary house orquestra. Master of ceremony Arbi El Ayachi as king of the carpet and the birchwood. Come and see!!

LATIF AÏT was, a few years ago, one of the first “new” Belgians who ventured into stand-up comedy and shortly after his debut won the 123 Comedy Award. Latif likes to keep away from the average Morrocan clichés and combines fine humor with original socially critic reflections."Latif shows himself to be a good story teller, who boasts about strong facial expressions and good imitations”
– De Morgen.

MAIMOUNA YOUSSEF (US) is a singer and Mc who knows how to conquer the hearts of many fans. In 2007 she was nominated for a Grammy Award for her contribution to the hit ‘Don’t Feel Right’ by The Roots. Maimouna already shared the stage with the greatest on earth like Nas, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, D’angelo, Mos Def and Common. Her recent debut album ‘The Blooming’ was acclaimed by press and audience.

YOUNESS MERNISSI is one of the best slammers in Belgium. He won the Belgian championship twice and was in the finals of the European and world championship Slam. Younes studied journalism at the ULB because it corresponds with his love for literature. He made the poetic humoristic show ‘Le slam fait plaisir’. Mernissi call Jacques Brel a big example.  “ He was some kind of slampoet avant la lettre, he talked more than he sang.”

LUISA OMIELAN (UK) brings nothing but girlpower to the stage. Full halls. Extended tours. Last months it went hard for comedienne Luisa and her debut  ‘What Would Beyoncé Do?!’. With her latest ‘Am I Right Ladies?!’ Luisa continues to ask questions and search for answers. Yet again a funny show on sex, mental health and body image in a world full of Hashtags and Instagramfilters.
