‘Ethiopian crunch music’, zo afficheert het Frans-Ethiopische uKanDanZ zich. Onder leiding van de charismatische zanger Asnake Guebreye worden Ethiopische ritmes en melodieën vol energie en overgave gekoppeld aan een flinke portie ruige rock, jazz en noise.  Asnake Guebreye’s komt uit de levendige muziekscene van Addis Abeba en is daar een van de topzangers en past qua stage presence perfect bij de ADHD-rock van de vier overige bandleden. uKanDanZ is een orkaan van echte energie en emotie op podium. Asnake Guebreyes originates from  the vivid muic scene of Addis Abbeba and is one of the top singers over there.
